The Hospital provides Indoor Patients Department (IPD) services where patients are accommodated after being admitted, based on doctor’s/specialist’s assessment, from the Out-Patient Department and Emergency Services. In-patients require a higher level of care through nursing services, availability of drugs/diagnostic facilities, observation by doctors, etc.
DDU has a sanctioned bed strength of 300, out of which 243 are functional beds currently
Apart from these, the hospital houses 6 No. of Beds at Dialysis Centre, 5 Beds is Emergency and 2 Beds in Intensive Care Unit.
